Though it has been awhile since this site was updated it in no way means we've given up on bringing our angel - Lindsey Baum - home. Things seem awfully quiet on the investigative front but they are far from cold with information still trickling in and leads still being followed, no one is giving up hope that soon we will have answers to what happened to Lindsey on June 26, 2009.

Little one, you are missed so much and thought of so often. Not a day passes that we are not thinking of you and what we can do to help bring you home. 2 Years Missing and Another Birthday Passes

July 7, 2011 was Lindsey's 13th birthday. It should have been celebrated with cake, presents, friends, family and smiles from the birthday girl. Instead it was spent alone by friends and family and instead of Lindsey opening presents a small group of supporters planted a tree to honor the day and to help remind people that she's still out there somewhere.

This is the 3rd birthday that Lindsey has not got to spend with her family and friends and while our hearts are bombarded by the media of horrific events that others have gone through we implore you to not forget those whose fate in yet unknown to those that love and miss them.

More Fliers Removed in the Same Areas

Recently you may have read that we spent time, just last week, replacing Lindsey's fliers that had been torn down in certain areas of McCleary. Well it looks like we will be doing it all over again as they have again been removed from the same areas. This is becoming a frustrating and repetitive process that frankly we find childish (though it is apparent that this is not being done by a child).

How Do We Plan To Overcome This Obstacle?

Well outside of simply reposting fliers we have approached the McCleary City Counsel and asked for help in finding a location where we can construct an actual billboard for Lindsey. I won't get into the details of the meeting as there is not much to discuss. However, I will tell you that we were put in touch with a gentleman who is going to assist us with finding a location and possibly getting it approved.

The billboard will be an end-all as far as the frustration incurred over the fliers. It would not be put in place simply as a reminder to those in McCleary to keep their eyes open and minds sharp but also for the numerous people who pass through this town on their way to other places or simply to visit family and friends within McCleary.

We would love to get your feedback on a Billboard in McCleary. Do you think this is a good move that should happen or ...? Give us your opinion.

Leave the Fliers Alone

To the person in McCleary who has felt it is necessary to remove Lindsey's fliers from the areas of Main Street, the alley between 4th and Main and the first half of Maple Street and ?? You won't stop us from posting her face all over this town for all who pass through to see. The more you tear down the more we will put up! All you are doing is wasting your own time.

Some things I'd Like to Share my Opinion On

I apologize for all the rants, including this one, you've been seeing here lately but I believe that has a lot to do with the built up frustration over the last almost year and a half. A lot of stuff has gone on and I believe it is about time to address a few things just to have them on the record - all my opinion of course.

When something happens that is controversial people are quick to jump to a side, point fingers and lay blame. Well in a situation like this unless you know who was involved in Lindsey's disappearance or where she is then there is no need for that behavior. When you pick sides - you don't hurt me, Melissa Baum, Fire Department - it hurts Lindsey. This, quite frankly, has little to do with Lindsey's mom or anyone else outside of Lindsey and her right to be found or the people or person who took her. So, when there is NO or very little show of support given- not liking her mother is NOT an excuse for it nor is how long she's been gone.

She's a child, taken from the streets of McCleary - she deserves support and awareness on Christmas, birthdays (yours, mine, hers and all in between), and every other non eventful day. If it saddens you, well I'm sorry but you'd be much sadder if it was your child or loved one - then I doubt an "it brings me down", "people have seen her picture" or "it's been too long" would be acceptable to you.

Rumors: Never forget that unless you know it as fact because you personally witnessed it then you really don't know if it is the truth or not. Consider the fact that you may not or don't know the true intentions of the person sharing the rumors with you. False rumors have cost numerous law enforcement man hours when that time could have been spent finding the truth.

People's opinions on the night Lindsey went missing, while it is their right to have them, it does nothing to help. If many of us could change the events of that night absolutely we would - would it have made a difference? Only the person or persons responsible for Lindsey not being home knows the answer to that. Perhaps instead she would have disappeared from her bedroom, from school, her front yard, the grocery store or perhaps it would have been someone else's child ?- you don't know and neither do I - therefore making it ridiculous to keep trying to use it as ammunition and an excuse for why not to care or get involved.

Locally the family has been snubbed and Lindsey related events and support sparse. Some has to do with hurt feelings over investigations that took place which perhaps were not comfortable for some locals. That however is not Lindsey or her families fault - truth is if you lie to law enforcement, collect child pornography, abuse children, are just in the wrong place around the wrong time, or any number of things and they find out, chances are you will be investigated. Don't hold that against a child who's missing. It makes no sense - pass out a flier, request a flier, share her story.

At the end of the day children all over the US have gone missing. Some are kidnapped and murdered, some kidnapped and held captive, some assaulted in different horrendous ways, some come home, some spend a lifetime listed as runaways - each and every one of those kids are somebody's baby - innocent - and equally deserving. It has been shown that the more affluent a family or controversial the story the more the public cares - well that needs to change. Lindsey, Kyron, Teekah, Adji, Hassani, Haleigh - the list goes on - but they are all equally deserving of support and awareness regardless of any of the people or circumstances that surround the case.

It boils down to something very simple: either you care or you don't. If you care - help, whatever that means to you. If you are reading this then you obviously have internet access so share her official page www.findlindseybaum.com, share a flier - whatever you can, if you are local: attend an event - let the bad guy(s) out there know that we all still care and we will search and be watching until we get answers.

A bit off topic but something I'd like to touch on. As with any other group of every day people you throw together under any circumstances - people are people. Perfection is a fantasy that no one has ever attained. The Lindsey Baum search group is made up of just that - everyday people. Has every comment they've ever made been appropriate or nice - likely not - have they always agreed with each other on everything that has come up? Highly unlikely.

What they deal with every day is a highly draining and emotional thing - there are bound to be ups and downs, disagreements, hurt feelings and so on but at the end of the day they know what matters most. They have offered time, information and resources to others not for recognition but because they know what it is like to have someone step in and offer just a little something to help when your worlds been turned upside down.

There are a lot of bad mouther's out there, some with reasons - others with opinions (reason free). But finding Lindsey is not about them (the team) - it is what they are about. You do not have to like them, agree with everything they do or say - that is not important to them if at the end of the day you are spreading awareness for the real cause - Lindsey and the other kids out there waiting to be brought home.

Please don't Bash the FD :) I'm not saying don't be upset - that just shows you care about Lindsey or missing children - just remember that at the end of the day each and every crew member is a person and that makes them like the rest of us - not perfect.

A lot of us are upset over the denial of support but once people started being up front about their real reasons for refusing (for this occasion at least) it makes more sense. Their focus was on a family currently in need for one reason or another. Some of us still feel that they could have easily done both without hindering the goal of helping the family in need, but there is nothing that can be done about that now.

Perhaps once they are able to help this family out they will then have the time to possibly devote to something that will help keep Lindsey's face out there for all who pass by to see. At 18 months almost now that support would surely be appreciated by more than just Lindsey's family.

No Support from McCleary Fire Department for Lindsey Baum?

**Update 12/15/2010 4:53pm: As was pointed out by a member of the Lindsey facebook page and I felt it only right to add to the commentary below:
Updated information: It has been brought to my attention that the FD did in fact offer something. They offered up a case of Candy canes that the group could distribute as they see fit.
Updated Personal Opinion: Where as that offer is nice it completely takes away from the community being able to see that the FD continues to support spreading awareness for Lindsey. The 10 year old girl that went missing from their community nearly 18 months ago. As stated below the following post - there were/are exceptions at the FD though we did not obtain their names they were very open and willing to help had a "vote" not been required. For those guys we truly appreciate that on behalf of Lindsey and her family. To the rest of the men and women I have nothing to say except - what if this was your child? Would it have been the same outcome? I think not. ** End Update

It was brought to my attention today that members of the Lindsey Baum search team and Melissa Baum approached the local F.D. to ask for help spreading awareness for Lindsey. They requested to have the F.D. hang a banner for Lindsey on the Firetruck during an upcoming Christmas activity that the FD will be taking part in (and does yearly). During this event the Fire Department hands out candy canes to local children as they drive through town. The search members and Melissa Baum also asked if they could possibly add labels to the candy canes that would be handed out to help spread awareness for Lindsey. They offered to do this by hand - on site or however was most convenient, if it was possible.

They were informed that the Fire Department and other members including the Fire Chief would have to hold a meeting and vote on it. Apparently the majority vote was that a child missing from their very own front yards did not warrant such support. Lindsey's support team was informed that if they did this for their organization (which the FD was corrected as they are not an organization) then they'd have to do so for everyone. Last time I checked there was only one child missing from McCleary - so it is difficult to understand how exactly that would have put them out.

They were not surprised while passing out fliers for Lindsey's upcoming vigil when the mother of the most recent person of interest (whose home was searched in July 2010) refused a flier and urged others to refuse them but from such prominent members of the community as the Fire Department - it was yet another undeserved blow. Unfortunate that some in such a small homey town can offer such little support. Thankfully though some of the local residents are great people and for that we are all thankful. For those of you who are local and have shown your support please know that it has been noticed and most appreciated.

** I did want to add for the couple of guys who were very supportive at the FD we will forever be greatful knowing how much you wanted to help.

A little off topic but I feel the need to mention the following: Over the course of the investigation for Lindsey there have been many people investigated and many homes searched. Not one of these searches were instigated by Melissa Baum or anyone other than Law Enforcement and they were done for reasons that are unknown to the public (including Melissa Baum) unless they were released in public search warrants.

Lindsey's own mother did not have advanced knowledge of these people being investigated or the upcoming search of their homes/properties or persons. Nor has Melissa Baum, even one time, publicly pointed the finger or directed suspicion at any one of these people even during the search. Yet some feel the need to publicly display hate and ill will towards both Lindsey, Lindsey related events and Lindsey's family. With childish and misplaced behavior like that it is of no surprise that we know so little of what happened that night nearly 18 months ago. So my message to all of "those" people is.... GROW UP and WAKE UP this is about something more important than your pride and it is a sad sad day if you don't see or understand that.

Lets not forget that whoever took Lindsey is still out there... What if this was your child? and this was the support that you received?

A Mothers Words - Letter from Lindsey's Mom

I will not give up on my child. Lindsey is out there and I have to find her! I am not too naive to not realize the possibility that I dread more the fires of hell! But I also know there is another possibility, either way I need to find her-I want my daughter home I want to hold her, love her, watch her grow up to become the incredible woman and human being that I believe she is meant to!

I want to and have a God given right as the very person who brought her into this world to see her through all the milestones of childhood and in to adulthood. School dances; buy her first prom dress -like I did with my mom , with all the excitement, and enjoyment that she and I both had in the process. To meet and torment her first boyfriend, to watch her graduate HS and college and to help her plan her wedding and see her walk down the aisle. My mother didn’t get to do that with her 3 children, I want to do that with mine. I want to see my daughter relish in the pleasure of her own children and family, I want to be there for her through all of life trials, hardships, and joys.

If these things are not possible and my worst nightmares are confirmed I still need to bring her home. Not for closure because that is something that can only exists when she is found safe. But I can’t go on not knowing where my daughter is, half my soul is out there with her. My world is frozen, dark, and empty. I am constantly angry, bitter, unforgiving, and suspicious every moment of the day.

My daughter is Lindsey Jo Baum - she blessed this world on the 7th day of July 1998 in a small town hospital in Tennessee. She had a head full of black hair and big brown eyes, like my mom who too was the exact opposite of her brothers and sisters who all were born with thin blonde hair and blue eyes.

LIndsey has always been a sweet, loving, beautiful, smart, little girl. I always knew I was blessed with my two beautiful healthy children but I never truly realized what a blessing and gift Lindsey has always been to me until the night last summer when someone stole her from me.

I am asked nearly every day how I get through and people tell me how strong I am and they just know that they couldn’t be! I used to say the same thing. But the truth is - I am not strong - I am broken, my heart soul and world is shattered. The only reason I can still move or breath is the fact I am driven by a power, second only to Gods, it’s the power of a mother’s love! Only a mother especially one blessed with the ability to feel her child from conception can possibly understand this unearthly power of which I speak. It is the power that with much effort allows me to get out of bed in the morning or to remind myself to breathe even when I don’t want to do either. Tthis is a power that not even mothers in general can feel this extra power/strength is something that is only known by a mother whose child has been stolen away by sheer evil. No not God’s will the God I know would never put a child on this earth that wasn’t “meant” to grow up even because of illness or accident. Gold played no part in Lindsey’s disappearance. This is all the devils doing assisted by the person(s) who took her. But not even Satan himself can make me give up on Lindsey.

I lay awake at night (nights are the worst part of life as the mother of a missing child) thinking of Lindsey sobbing and begging God to help me and give me the strength to find her. I do this at night because I can’t in the daytime. I don’t want pity for what I am going through except maybe from those who know what happened or where my daughter is.

What I do want from others is prayers for Lindsey and action! Our laws have to change even if it means changing some “rights” of citizens. Rights have been part of what let this epidemic become so bad. Our so called criminal justice is only Justice for the criminals in these kinds of matters! What about Lindsey’s rights? What about your child’s rights to grow up safe and loved? But all this is more than I have the strength to go into right now…I just need Lindsey found! I would trade my soul to hold her to hear her laughter, her singing.

She Deserves So Much Better...

In situations like this it is really sad when people come to you claiming to have information only to turn it into an attention seeking situation. When details, people, scenario's and information starts to change - topped with the knowledge of already public rumor do not think that those details are missed.

We will search forever if that is what it takes - we will be a thorn in the side of whomever we must in order to bring Lindsey home and get the answers that are so desperately needed by so many.

There must come a point in time when everyone realizes that the only way to true happiness is to go through life with a clear conscience - and a deep understanding that there is nothing on God's green earth more precious than a child.

On 6/26/2009 Lindsey Baum disappeared while walking home from a friends house. Today, just over a year later, her immediate family joined together to honor Lindsey's birthday.

This emotional day was celebrated with those closest to Lindsey, at a small park in Olympia, WA. The celebration consisted of a BBQ and a birthday cake decked out with 12 candles. Just the type of celebration Lindsey would want if she were home with them on this oh so very important marker in her life.

Tragic that this family must celebrate this day without the birthday girl there to take part. Please keep Lindsey and her family in your prayers and as always ~ if you have any information that may help find Lindsey Baum please contact:

Lindsey's Day of Hope & Awareness For the Missing

What an amazing day! So many families joined together yesterday (6/26/10) to honor Lindsey's one year and many of their own missing and lost loved ones.

Even with many last minute changes, cancellations, replacements and the fact that this was a first "big event" put together by members of the Lindsey Baum search center - it was a successful gathering. Families such as Chuck & Judy Cox (Susan Powell's parents), Theresa Lewis and family (mother and siblings of Teekah Lewis), Maranda Hannah (Alycia Nipp's mother/founder of Mother's Against Sex Crimes), Bev Poston (friend of Nancy Moyer), Linda Walkup (Amber Dubois' Aunt/loved one) and many many others showed up to speak, show support and help spread awareness.

Washington State Patrol was out providing fingerprint kits for kids, the Reading Foundation passed out free books to the kids, M.A.S.C. (Mother's Against Sex Crimes) & LRC (Laura Recovery Center) showed up to offer support and speak out on the need for awareness and education, Thurston County Bloodhounds were brought out for the children and adults to meet and several other organizations were there as a part of Lindsey's Day of Hope and Awareness for the Missing.

A great big thank you to everyone who participated and stopped by! An especially big thank you to our band three-six-0 who was able to squeeze us into their schedule with barely any notice! You guys were amazing!!

Upcoming One Year Awareness Event for Lindsey Baum

The searches heeded no new evidence that would help authorities piece together the puzzle of what happened nearly a year ago to then 10 year old Lindsey Baum.

We have lost our search center however for individuals that are still interested in searching please email us at LindseyBaumSearchCenter@yahoo.com and we can let you know when and where we will be meeting for scheduled searches.

The loss of the center makes volunteer searches a bit more tricky but we still encourage volunteers to contact us and we still intend on allowing volunteers the opportunity to come out and join us on searches. In the meantime even with the major reduction of volunteers that we have seen over the course of these past months Lindsey's core team continues regular searches.

If you have any information, suggestions for search locations, questions then please do not hesitate to get in contact with us. The tragic news about the discovery of both Chelsea King and more recently Amber Dubois leaves you to wonder just how connected these two innocent girls - or their deaths at least really are. It also leaves you with a sadly overwhelming bitterness for our judicial system.

The story reads like a horrific nightmare - a sex offender sentenced to a mere 5 years, against the better judgment of the Psychiatrist who warned the judge that the un-remorseful Gardner was likely to offend again. Released early for good behavior it was not long before the psychiatrist was proven right. DNA evidence linked this sexual predator to Chelsea King, a teenage girl whose body was just recently discovered in a shallow grave not far from where she disappeared. Just days later another body of a beautiful teenage girl - Amber Dubois, who has been missing since February 2009, was also discovered.

Though not all of the facts have been laid out it is not hard to see the similarities and the opportunity that could link Gardner to both of these cases. Outside of the fact that both girls disappeared in February, just barely a year apart, or the fact that Gardner lived just a few short miles away other factors and behaviors seem to suggest a possible connection. It is also not hard to see that Gardner could not have done this without some help from the justice system that is sworn to protect the innocent and hold the guilty accountable.

How many times does law enforcement have to track these guys down and haul them in before our judicial system is going to realize that it is seriously flawed where our most innocent are concerned? Could the heartache, that these families are dealing with right now, have been prevented if violent child offenders were not granted such leniency by a system put in place to help right wrongs?

When the system fails where are we expected to turn?

To Amber's family: You guys have helped emotionally and physically so much in the search for Lindsey and now in your time of need we want you to know that you are still in our hearts and our prayers. We wish so much that we could be there for you guys right now. Keep your heads up - now is time to get justice for Amber!

FBI Searches Beef Up in McCleary, WA in search for Lindsey Baum

Law enforcement agencies including the Sheriff's department, local police and FBI and going door to door in McCleary in search of answers to what happened to 10 year old Lindsey Baum over 8 months ago on the 26th of June. The FBI's Child Abduction Rapid Deployment (C.A.R.D) team has been brought in to take a fresh look at this troubling case. Previously searched homes are being rechecked and people are being re-interviewed in an attempt to paint a clear picture of the day leading up to the disappearance of Lindsey Baum.

For the moment no new leads have been revealed but law enforcement maintains a positive outlook that the case of missing 11 year old Lindsey Baum can be solved. The opinions and perspectives of the locals vary greatly but all share the hope that soon there will be a resolution and Lindsey will once again return home to those who love and miss her.

Quashing Rumors: Regarding Baum's Home Search 2/26/10

Contrary to some of the rumors that may be going around the search of the Baum residence was a voluntary search. The Baum's are getting ready to move and to ensure that nothing was overlooked a voluntary search was done on the Baum residence before the home could be contaminated by new residents, preparation for new residents or possible information could be lost or misplaced during packing or the move itself.

This search was not done because the Baum's are suspects or POI's - they are not and this was just a standard precautionary action to ensure that anything that may be needed in the future was in the custody of Law Enforcement. For those that are doubtful I suggest you listen to some of the previous releases and statements made by Law Enforcement over the course of this investigation.

Law Enforcement agencies came together today during a press conference to let the public know that they are not giving up on missing 11 year old Lindsey Baum and that the reward for information leading them to Lindsey is now $20, 000! FBI, police and Sheriff's departments from surrounding counties and Lindsey's mom attended the meeting and addressed the media all asking the community and surrounding communities to join in their continuous efforts to bring Lindsey home. They asked that people help by reporting any information regarding Lindsey's disappearance or reports of odd behaviors (missed work, strange attitude, secretive, sudden moves, obsessive talking or avoidance of the subject of Lindsey's disappearance etc).

Please come and help all day, part day or even a couple of hours. ANY and all help is appreciated.

Volunteers are asked to wear weather and search appropriate clothing. There may be areas in thick brush as well as rough terrain so good shoes and long sleeves and pants are being suggested.

Donations of snacks, water, food for searchers, disposable cups, toilet paper are desperately needed.

Oprah Show To Come to Lindsey Baum Search?!!!

Now you may have already heard but bear in mind that stuff happens. Tentatively, however, we are expecting to have members of Oprah Winfrey's crew down at the search center this Friday or Saturday, not Oprah herself but some of the crew. If this comes through this will be an amazing boost to getting Lindsey's picture and story out there to a broader audience.

Will this change the searches in any way? No. Searches will be conducted as usual and no one will be filmed or interviewed without their express permission should the crew show up at the search center.

Whether or not the Oprah crew makes it down lets show the world how dedicated we all are to bringing Lindsey Home.... Please show up and help us search this Friday Saturday and Sunday!!

Search Center Donations Needed

For the current search at hand we are in need of food and snacks for searchers. This is an urgent need at this time as the search dates approach. If you can help out in any way please email us at contact@findlindseybaum.com. These searchers sometimes spend hours trekking through water, brush and debris and we need to make sure that they have the energy to make it safely through these searches. (We Are Still In Need Of Food, Snacks, Gift Cards and/or Donations!!)

For future searches - we are still looking for a location that can be utilized as a search center and can be made available to us on weekends so we can continue searches. If you have any office space in McCleary that you would be comfortable allowing us to use on weekends please contact us right away. With the weather turning colder it will not always be possible for us to host the search center at the park. (**UPDATE: We have secured a location for future searches.)

Both accounts are set up as dual signature accounts. The 2 signers are unrelated and no one has direct personal access to either account.

Reward fund - How it works: Any donation made to the reward fund will be added to the offered award once it reaches a certain point (ex: if someone donates $1 you will not see an updated reward for $10, 001) . However, even the donor of that $1 will be entitled to get their donation back should the reward not be paid out. This is why it is important to include your information if sending in or making a donation. Donors DO NOT have to go public - donors are welcome to remain anonymous but we still need access to your information for the reason stated above - we will not however publicly release any information regarding donors.

Search Fund: How it works: Any monies donated to the search fund are solely to be used for the purpose of funding the search for Missing 11 year old Lindsey Baum. There is no personal access to this account and it is not able to be used for any personal reasons for ANYONE. Search related costs include but are not necessarily limited to the following: paper supplies used in the search center, food for searchers, costs of acquiring a search center, paper supplies, fliers, ink, office type supplies, costs for bringing in outside help to aid in the search for Lindsey Baum.

Searches will be starting back up this weekend for missing child Lindsey Baum. We unfortunately do not have an actual center and will be working from Beerbower park but hopefully this will help urge a kind heart to offer up a space for future searches. We are hoping that this does not deter you and that we will have the opportunity to see you this weekend. Please be sure not to bring your animals or children as we can not legally allow them to participate in any searches.

Searches for Lindsey Baum will be taking place this weekend. If you know for sure that you will be attending any of these days please email us back if possible - though an email is not required to participate.

Dates: 12th and 13th (Sat and Sun) (Correct dates) - However, those who were set on being here Friday and have or have not contacted us regarding meeting Friday we have decided that we will be at the park on Friday to allow those individuals to participate! - Thank you to everyone who will be out tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday.

New Search Being Scheduled

The searches for Lindsey Baum intended for the weekend of the 12th are still in the works and we are still planning to conduct searches that weekend. I will update here as well as send out emails to those who have emailed in to the site when I have all of the details.

Right now we are still trying to secure a location to work out of but worse case scenario we can use the covered area at BeerBower park temporarily, until an actual location can be found. Amazing Efforts Put Forth in Lindsey's Search

A great big THANK YOU to The Laura Recovery Center, KlaasKids Foundation and to those of you who donated your time and more this weekend to help search for Lindsey Baum and to support the search for this innocent missing child. It may not have been smooth sailing the whole time but you guys all stuck in there with us and it was an honor to have met each and every one of you.

A lot of ground was covered this weekend and many people closed out the day feeling the effects of the hours they dedicated to searching and helping. Your sacrifice and support did not go unnoticed by any and though we may not have brought Lindsey home this week we were able to build a great support system for her search and her family and help boost their hope. This weekend may be over but this most likely will not mark the end of the searches.

We intend to keep the searches going until we are able to bring Lindsey home. The Laura Recovery Center and KlaasKids Foundation have given us an opportunity to learn the process that will better enable us to continue searching and help to keep hope and faith burning strong until this sweet innocent angel is returned home. We hope that you too will continue to help us in our search and keep pushing forward until there are no more unanswered questions.

Search Volunteers Needed!!!

The search center for missing child Lindsey Baum is in desperate need of search volunteers for Friday, Saturday and Sunday! IF you are interested in volunteering please show up at the McCleary Community Center located at 726 West Simpson Avenue between 9am and 4:30pm on the day or days that you would like to participate in the search for Lindsey Baum.

Volunteers are asked to wear weather and search appropriate clothing. There may be areas heavy in thick brush as well as rough terrain so good shoes and long sleeves and pants are being suggested.

There is also a need for volunteers inside the search center for varying tasks and errands. Please check in at the search center to find out the exact needs.

Donations!! Snack donations for searchers, disposable cups, coffee and a coffee pot is also desperately needed as is a copy machine and toilet paper. If you can help with any of the above items please email contact@findlindseybaum.com or bring them directly to the search center between 9am and 5pm friday through sunday.

Hello Baby, its Mommy. It’s been 46 days since you were stolen from me, I miss you so much, and I can’t breathe. I can’t wait to hold you in my arms again and never let you go! My heart is shattered and my soul is empty without you! Josh misses you so much, he cries every night. I think about you and talk to you all the time, even in my dreams. You are constantly on my mind, I haven’t been to work since you’ve been gone, I spend all my time looking for you and we won’t stop until we find you!

I haven’t read anymore of the Chamber of Secrets, I am waiting till you come home to read it with me. We haven’t gone to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, we are waiting for you to come home and go together like we planned. When you get home we are going to have the biggest Birthday/Welcome Home party that anyone has ever seen! And that is a PROMISE!

Desperate search for missing girl, Lindsey Baum

McCleary, WA. Lindsey Baum was walking home from a friend's house in the small town of McCleary, Washington on June 26, 2009 when she disappeared. “It's like she literally vanished,” said Melissa Baum, Lindsey's mother. Despite extensive, well coordinated searches by law enforcement, Lindsey is still missing. Lindsey's mother has called on two national non-profit organizations, the KlaasKIDS Foundation and Laura Recovery Center (LRC), to organize a community volunteer search.

Brad Dennis, Director of Search Operations for the KlaasKIDS Foundation said they will be holding a community meeting at 7pm Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the McCleary Community Center. Community members are encouraged to attend and learn about the two organizations and plans for the weekend search. The McCleary Community Center is located at 726 W. Simpson Ave, McCleary, Washington 98577.
